Gown Maids
When going to have bridal gown alterations, who is appropiate to take with you?
Is it the maid of honour that goes with you or is it appropriate to take another friend?
Honestly, you don’t need anyone, you can go alone. However, if you do want someone to go generally it would be the maid of honor and your mother. If neither are available, then you can ask other brides maids in your wedding party or a good friend. But it really isn’t necessary to bring anyone.
My friend and her mother went and purchase the dress but when she went back for alterations I drove her (I was the maid of honor) as she was having difficulties driving due to her pregnancy.
