Laydown Collar
Shock Collars?
Can anyone tell me if a low voltage shock collar is dangerous for a 95lb Golden Retriever? Or if you have had any experience using this type of training aide. Does it work? I have tried all types of discipline and doggy training requires the animal arrive in a crate. So this is not an option. He does well with sit, laydown and shake, however I can not seem to get him to stop jumping up on people or to listen if he gets out of the fence he just runs off. Yes he is fixed.
The collar is approved by the Human Society and is said to be non harming.
I have tried the toes, and someone told me to put my knee up when he jumps…This does not phase him, and telling him now just does not work at all.
i think before someone considers putting this on their dog, they should try it out on themselves, and then see if they think it is a good idea.
