How do I find out with an old wedding ring is made of and what it is worth?
I have an old wedding ring and would like to know what the quality of it is and what it is worth. Where could I find this information out and how long would it take? Also does it cost money?
Get it appraised by a certified appraiser. He will tell you the metal (gold, platinum etc and the karat) and the stones (diamonds, rubies etc and the cut, color, carat weight and clarity) and then he will give you a written appraisal.
