Applique Bridesmaid
Multi-colored bridal party?
I am having a casual wedding and a small wedding party (Best Man, Maid of Honor, one bridesmaid and one groomsman) and I am having trouble deciding on color schemes.
My idea….my dress is white with bursts of vibrant colors in appliqued flowers and butterflies. I am thinking that each person should wear a color represented in my dress but I am worried it might be too much color. My other thought was to pick the two colors I like the best and go with that. I am looking for some other opinions. The problem I have with picking only two colors is what color do I put the groom and my uncle in (who is giving me away)?? Suggestions would be greatly appreciated. 
I have seen multi-colored bridal parties before. One was a fall wedding – the bridesmaids were each a different fall shade. Another was spring, similar idea.
I think the multi-colored bridal parties look nice so long as the colors chosen look good together and aren’t too garish.
For the men: The colors can be shown by a colored tie, and boutonniere. Since it is your grooms special day as well, ask him for input as to what he would like to be wearing.
Also, what flowers are in your bouquet? Have you thought about matching your uncle’s accent colors to your flowers?
