Is there a scope of photography as aprofessional in Ireland?
My husband is a photographer and work in this field since 1989 and can do all kinds of photography, … medical, fashion, wedding. portrairts, child, and everything inyour mind. I live in Ireland with the familyand eworried is the work of my husband. So please say that there are jobs that you and the future of photography in Ireland.
A honest, the only really make money zone Ireland in photography is photographing weddings. We have a very young population and this means many marriages. Most photographers tend to charge about 1,300 euros and upwards. There would be a small market for portraiture and ceremony as well. As the economy has been a bit wobbly recently, I would say that marriages are the surest way, but that does not mean that there is money to do it elsewhere. Now is a good time to buy a property in Ireland, because of the economy weakening, house prices are falling rapidly. Please note that thought if you decide to sell in a year, would have trouble selling and I therefore remting recommended first if you plan to move here. Good luck.
