Wedding Gold
Can you have a grooms gold wedding band dipped in titanium or tungsten?

I was given my dads wedding band, which is gold, after he passed away and I’d like to use it for sentimental reasons of course but would like to have it dipped. I like the harder metals and have always liked the titanium and tungsten looks but I am just looking into my options. Thanks

unfortunately no, that won’t work

what you could do is have it dipped in rhodium which will make it white gold…
if you’re worried about damaging it through working with it on and/or daily wear you could save it for special occasions (such as the wedding) and get a tungsten (the harder of the two you listed) and wear that for every-day or work, this way you’d get to respect your fathers memory/have the sentimental value, while also protecting it :)
