Black White

How can I print a black/white document without replacing the color cartridges?
I never seem to print anything with color, but at least twice a year on my Epson CX3810, the colors becomes low somehow.
The black ink cartridge is 75% full, and all I want to do is print a black and white document. I’ve gone into settings and checked the option “Black Ink Only” only to have it tell me I have low color ink cartridges again and then it just won’t print.
How can I get around this stupid thing? (Without buying new color ink cartridges…)
Read http://www.ccs-digital.com/inkjetcare.asp for important info. What you are doing is dangerous to your printer. With ink cartridges for about $2 which hold almost twice the ink of regular epson, it’s pointless to avoid buying cartridges. By the way, I thought I was the only one still using a CX3810.
