Teasing hair at the crown tips?
Everytime I try to tease my hair at the crown for more lift, it falls flat! Im trying to do a hairstyle where its straight/flat in front but poofy towards the back. It always looks too ratty and not sure how to smooth it over and make it hold well. Any tips would be great!

Lift up the hair that you want to tease, and then hairspray it a couple times. Then, tease it well. it shouldn’t fall flat if you tease enough. do that to whatever area you want to tease. when you comb it over to smooth it out, don’t comb through the whole thing, just the top visible section. it should be a very small layer that you comb through to cover the tease.
you can also blowdry your hair upsidedown for extra volume. and straighten upwards.(:
