Sterling Silver

I am sending a sterling silver toothpaste tube key to Canada. How shall I wrap it for first class mail?
I am sending a sterling silver toothpaste tube key by first class to Canada. The package will weigh about 6 oz. There are restrictions for silver and other items. I know it will have to be registered. What about boxing and packaging. What kind of material can I use to package item for shipping? Do I have to use a certain kind of tape and box wrapping? Will a brown box and clear tape work?
If you are sending it certified you must tape all the edges of the box with paper tape ( it must be the kind with out the wax on it) You can not use any clear tape on the box as the stamps from the PO will not stay on it but rube off. If you only sned it first calss with insurance then Yes you can use clear tape.
