Can you alter a wedding dress to have a lace up back?
I have a wedding dress that has buttons (for show) and a zipper. I would like for the seamstress to take all of that out and put in a lace up back. Is that possible??
Yep. My prom dress was button up and since it was a smidge tight (I have a large chest lol) the seamstress offered to remove the buttons and zipper and put in a lace-up back. I ended up having her take out the seems a little because I loved the buttons but had I chosen to have the zipper taken out she said it would have cost me around $50-$75 which considerng the price of a wedding/prom dress, isn’t too bad for alterations.
