What kind of foods should I have at my wedding reception?
The reception is at a church. The room is pretty big. The table cloths are white and ivory and peach rose petals will be on all the tables. The centerpiece is a small slender vase with white vase crystals and peach roses. I need some help picking out the food? Also, what do you think about having chips, I don’t really want them, but my mother-in-law does?
Well,going by your decor. You’ve set the tone for a higher-class reception. And potato chips,doesn’t really fit. Pretzels could work though.
For the actual food. Choose two non-expensive meats. Such as Chicken and Turkey. Some steamed Veggies,some dinner rolls. It’s a nice meal. And if you ONLY have the meat catered and do everything else yourself. You may get by relatively cheap for the food. Just shop around,price places. And ask what all they include for free.
