Hair Swirls
My little boy has a nearly perfect large round swirl pattern of hair, at the rear of his head, on top. Why?
What is it called? Why or how was it formed? Does it serve a purpose? It looks like a hurricane, and he is extremely active, 90% of the time. Does this hair swirl have anything to do with this?
its quite normal for a baby or young child to have very pronounced hair patterns! everyone has them some have two some only have one but regardless they are all completely natural. its the same as someone having a cow lick ( hair that naturally sits higher than the rest ) some are more prominent and some are not! my son is 4 and has his dads hair line which looks like at the age of 4 its receding but its not its just a genetic thing and there is nothing to worry about.
